Program Manager, Supply Chain and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with supply chain or operations.
  • Experience with project management with attention to detail, and machine learning capacity delivery.
  • Experience with client services engagement, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partner teams.
  • Passion for working in an ambiguous and evolving engineering operations environment.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive efforts to improve efficiency, cycle times, reliability, predictability, and on-time delivery.
  • Own on-time delivery performance of Machine learning GPU's and networking capacity.
  • Communicate health, status, and actions to stakeholders including product areas, management, and partner organizations.
  • Collaborate across organizational levels and boundaries.
  • Oversee and ensure execution and delivery of plans and strategies, troubleshoot issues, identify risk areas, and develop mitigation strategies.
