Account Manager (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with data to identify trends and performance insights and in customer-facing consulting or business.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders and optimizing and troubleshooting products or services.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360, or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Ability to gain commitment to a product, service, or idea from partners, customers, suppliers, or stakeholders using data and appropriate communication or storytelling methods.
  • Ability to combine technical and financial data to differentiate and position the value of Google products, services, and solutions to create competitive advantage.

In this role, you will use your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and abilities to shape how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you will provide Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis. You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. You will set the goal and the strategy for how the advertising can reach thousands of users.

industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations within the sales team, prioritizing and executing initiatives and ensuring accountability to team goals and provide guidance and troubleshooting support for customer accounts and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with agency partners on campaign management across Search, Display, and YouTube. Own and manage agency and client relationships, recurring meetings, status calls, and ad hoc requests.
  • Optimize keyword lists and ads in order to maximize advertiser ROI. Summarize insights and best practices actively, and share them within the team and vertical.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to drive their business goals through aligned Google solutions and drive diversified ad growth by pitching relevant solutions across AI, search, display, and video products, also quantify high-impact opportunities in-quarter with clear recommendations to pitch to customers, while handling objections and evaluating campaign effectiveness.
