Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, GCS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, marketing, or consultative business.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and agreement negotiations with organizations.
  • Experience in building processes, managing projects and leading programs with internal and external constituents simultaneously.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in SaaS solution sales, digital marketing, consulting, or B2B marketing.
  • Experience in physical presence and business infrastructure implementations.
  • Understanding of cross-border eCommerce business and digital marketing.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Ability to establish relationships within export-focused public sector organizations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the job

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you will be part of a strategic and ambiguous market initiative to accelerate Google’s business development in our top priority cities, through strengthening Google’s strategic presence in the local market, building partnerships with export-focused public sector authorities to influence mid to long-term industry policies, activating local export ecosystem and implementing scalable market education programs with external partners and agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement regional focused strategic programs specifically tailored to the cross-border eCommerce industry, to strengthen Google’s presence and external partnerships in targeted cities.
  • Build and develop strategic partnerships with export-focused public sector authorities, associations and external partners, fostering strong relationships and nurturing long-term collaboration opportunities.
  • Navigate through partner complexities and stakeholder dynamics to co-create innovative solutions and incentives that address common pain points for new customers activating and growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business with Google. Lead negotiations and implementations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure program milestones are met and alignment between strategic partnership efforts and overall business goals.
