  • 13 years of experience in Management Consulting, Ad Sales, Partnerships, Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, or a similar role.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, sales, and executive teams.
  • Experience within the digital advertising landscape, including platforms, trends, and competitive dynamics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in analyst relations.
  • Experience at an Advertising research firm or Agency research team.
  • Experience in B2B Marketing.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with partner organizations and strong project management skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully influencing analyst perceptions and driving positive coverage.

The Ads Marketing and Center of Excellence's Insights, Strategy, Research & Operations team defines and accelerates ACE's AI enabled growth strategy, drive operational excellence, and enhance the experience of our people, stakeholders, and customers.

As the Head of Analyst Relations for Google Ads, you will be responsible for shaping and strengthening Google Ads' perception and influence within the industry analyst community (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, Emarketer, Consulting firms, Universities, etc.). In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with key analysts, ensure Google Ads' participation in critical industry reports, and amplify analyst insights across our go-to-market channels.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build, cultivate, and maintain strong/credible relationships with new and existing influential industry analysts and research-firms. Develop tailored analyst relations plans for individual analysts and firms to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate Google Ads' contributions to third-party-research, including formal-briefings on our perspectives and narratives, bespoke-topics and recurring industry-overviews and rankings (Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves). Develop joint research and publication-plans with analysts.
  • Identify opportunities for and complete regular inquiry calls with industry thought-leaders to gather-insights and inform Google Ads' strategy. Develop internal-briefing materials on upcoming and recent analyst publications relevant to Google Ads.
  • Develop opportunities for and coordinate the involvement of third-party analyst-voices and research in Google Ads Marketing and partner-channels.
  • Create processes for analyst relationship-management across Google Ads Marketing and partner-organizations.
