Analytical Consultant (Fixed-Term Contract)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, strategy consulting, financial analysis, or similar analytical role.
  • Experience in translating data into business recommendations, creating and delivering insights-based presentations or business cases with recommendations and aligned with customers objectives.
  • Experience in data analyses and visualization (Google Sheets and Slides), scripting (SQL, Python) and dashboard development (e.g., Looker Studio).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the advertiser, agency or other media owner side.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering recommendations to clients on B- and C-levels.
  • Experience working closely with sales and cross-functional teams and influencing key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.
  • Ability to manage conversations effectively at different levels, adapting tone and approach when communicating with both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with effective time-management and prioritization skills.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients across various industries to optimize their online advertising strategies and help them achieve their business objectives (e.g., be the POC on data, analysis and strategic insights).
  • Look into data to uncover hidden opportunities and commercial insights for customers, to turn into compelling narratives and analyze their market coverage and Google campaign performance to spot new opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven methodologies to forecast returns and business outcomes based on client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), improving our pitch effectiveness which will help them optimize their profitability and branding investments and align their efforts with target audiences.
  • Help identify solutions and analyze that other customers and teams would benefit from and work together with a cross-functional team to scale and automate them.
