Procurement Operations Program Manager, Cloud Supply Chain and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in procurement operations, sourcing operations or purchase orders within supply chain, manufacturing or materials management environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience with program management within Procurement.
  • 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in working with agreement manufacturers.
  • Excellent investigative skills with ability to work with multiple data sources to provide insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Cloud Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) team delivers the compute capability that powers Google and the Google Cloud Platform. The Product Manufacturing and Build Management (PMBM) is the team responsible for optimizing and ensuring success of the manufacturing production for servers, machine learning, and networking equipment for Google’s data centers.

In this role, you will navigate a changing environment and balance multiple priorities. You will be implementing new and executing existing Buy/Promote programs. You will manage end-to-end operations from program setup to ongoing purchase order and billing execution, drive material requests and resolving shipping issues. You will work on a quarterly bill of materials (BOM) costing process, ensuring negotiated pricing is accurately reflected in our partner's systems. You will be required with onsite presence in Guadalajara in a hybrid format.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Drive the day-to-day operations of the Buy/Promote programs. Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and agreement manufacturing partners to manage purchase orders, billing, and resolution of shipping and billing issues. Oversee the collection and publication of promote prices and conduct metrics analysis to ensure program success.
  • Lead the evaluation and enablement of new Buy/Promote programs. Support cross-functional requests, set up new systems, and lead engagements with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) for new material and SAP capabilities.
  • Manage the execution of the quarterly bill of materials costing process, ensuring negotiated component pricing is accurately reflected in the partner's systems.
  • Manage projects from inception through completion. Ensure requirements are complete and scope is well defined with multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
