Strategic Program Development Manager, Communication and Education, GCS (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, B2B marketing, sales enablement, or education program management.
  • Experience in managing projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and third-party partners.
  • Experience in cross-border or exporting business.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and region partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing and landing customer training programs.
  • Experience working with the China export industry.
  • Ability to influence executive stakeholders and align cross-functional teams toward shared Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable educational roadmaps and execution plans with an entrepreneurial mindset.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

As a Strategic Program Development Manager, you will be part of a ambitious market initiative to accelerate Google’s new customer acquisitions and Same-Store Growth (SSG) growth in our top priority cities, through strengthening Google’s presence and ecosystem partnerships, and enabling clients’ at scale via education and technology.

You will drive the educational engine of the Export Acceleration Center (EAC) program and own its strategy and execution, and act as the bridge between external resources including industry thought leaders, agencies, and training partners and internal business goals. Additionally, you will serve as the central node for the EAC program communications, ensuring alignment between EAC initiative and our sales and cross-functional teams.Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increasing our customer and agency base and optimizing their advertising investment.
  • Deliver consistently against goals on new and existing business while prioritizing and delivering an excellent business experience to Google's managed agency partners.
  • Build compelling, data-driven long-term agency plans leveraging market insights and research while synchronizing agency plans with our agency pod and internal cross-functional teams to further develop our agencies.
  • Serve as an ongoing trusted thought partner for executive C/B-level down to specific account teams, including Media Planners and Buyers on initiatives and agency-level planning.
  • Analyze data trends and customer performance, develop business plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and business presentations.
