Marketing Technology Analyst

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in technical digital marketing roles or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Experience with project management or project coordination.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing quantitative business models to assess the impact of projects and initiatives.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders to design, launch and scale marketing programs.
  • Ability to structure data-driven narratives and excellent communication skills, coupled with distinctive problem-solving and growth marketing skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and change management skills, coupled with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent team player who grows in a changing, cross-functional environment within a globally distributed team.

About the job

As a Market Technology Analyst, you are tasked with changing the way we do Marketing through product strategy centered on user experience and design, establishing a shared goal across the organization, and breaking seemingly intractable problems down into simple ideas that transform our operations and relentless prioritization. In this role, you will transform marketing technology by providing our marketers with insights gleaned from past campaigns and streamlining processes and tools that we use every day.


You’re a big-thinker, formulating product plans that cause step-changes in the way Google Marketing operates. You can identify process improvements and know the difference between a tool that needs improvement and a process that needs changing. You’ll bring an understanding of the fundamentals of marketing, advertising, and the creative process, and you have the skills and aptitude with user experience and design, coupled with the ability to work with agencies or internal engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of Enhanced Conversions, Consent Mode, and First Party Mode for Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Monitor product adoption and compliance with the support from cross functional teams and agency partners.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to drive media growth through value centric measurement.
  • Support development of business strategy and product roadmap using customer research, understanding of technology and business objectives, and set up relevant tracking to measure the business impact of product launches.
  • Manage project timelines and deliver against changing deadlines and priorities and manage data and performance reporting analysis.
