As the TPM Director for our mission to transform software development with AI, you will own and drive delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of products at different levels of maturity to accelerate software development at Google.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $272,000-$383,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive a large and complex product portfolio of AI-based developer experiences from concept to broad Googler software engineer adoption to accelerate the Google software development lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor a high performing, distributed, TPgM organization, including establishing a strong set of emerging leaders.
  • Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, removing roadblocks and keeping processes running smoothly.
  • Establish strong cross-functional partnerships across Engineering, Product, UX, Go-to-Market, EngEdu, and Strategy and Operations to prioritize and implement features, infrastructure and processes.
  • Manage executive communication of program progress, status, and risks within Developer, Core, and across Google.
