Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in a business technology sales or customer success role.
- Experience identifying and addressing challenges related to international app scaling.
- Experience working with the mobile app development lifecycle.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience leading and executing app store optimization strategies, user experience audits, and growth initiatives.
- Experience in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and running A/B tests to assist in decision making.
- Experience with app monetization models and strategies.
- Passion for mobile apps, international business, and a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding consulting, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to present to and influence executives.

As an App Consultant, you'll act as a trusted advisor for Google's top app developers to improve their international performance. You'll provide expert guidance and actionable insights to optimize their apps and drive sustainable global growth by identifying key actions to better meet local consumer expectations around app store optimization, user experience, in-app engagement, monetization, and localization.
The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams, clients, and agencies to identify growth opportunities, enhance their international app offerings, and drive business growth.
- Analyze apps, connect developers with expert partners, and implement solutions for seamless global operations.
- Become a thought leader on international app expansion.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to stay informed and share best practices with the developer ecosystem.
- Develop industry knowledge and relationships to help develop the program and better respond to the challenges faced during international app expansion.
