Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting within the media and entertainment industry, including influencer and creator networks or agencies.
  • Experience managing partnerships and negotiating agreements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently to support partner relationship management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with potential partners.
  • Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.

YouTube Biz Segment GTM is responsible for designing and delivering our service models for our Business Development, Creator and Consumer Success, and Partner Engineering teams to drive sustainable partner growth and customer lifetime value. The team will work closely with Business, Product and Marketing leaders to optimize impact and cost-to-serve across these partner and consumer segments. The core capabilities of the team include innovating and gaining alignment on our partner and consumer service models — who we serve, what service is provided to achieve growth, how the service is provided and incentivized — defining measures of success (impact, productivity, ROI), enabling change management with frontline teams and developing pilots to test new frontline models.

As a Partnerships Acquisitions Manager at YouTube, you will help partners (content creators) reach broader audiences by bringing them onto the YouTube platform and ensuring that they are set up for success. You will acquire and develop relationships with prospective partners and help them become successful on YouTube.

In this role, you will leverage your business development, negotiation and partnership skills to understand partner goals and help them make the most of YouTube, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure our product sets our partners up for success. Your contributions will not only drive business objectives but also enhance our company culture. You will be building meaningful partnerships and shaping the future of digital content in a pivotal market.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and onboard new content partners within Middle East and North Africa (MENA) onto the YouTube platform.
  • Align product/content with partner business goals, provide guidance to drive adoption, and secure content required through agreements and acquisitions.
  • Support business and product innovation through goal-oriented programs and pilots, creator engagement, and beta testing.
  • Build a network of partners to serve as platform advocates, and represent YouTube at industry events.
  • Manage partner issues, educate on policies, and ensure agreement/corpus hygiene.
