Strategic Partner Development Manager, Search and Gemini (English, Vietnamese, Thai)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Ability to communicate in English, and Vietnamese or Thai fluently in order to interact with partners in the market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in negotiating and closing strategic partnerships and renewals.
  • Ability to clarify and summarize complex issues, and strong attention to details.
  • Ability to have a strategic mindset to translate problems into project opportunities aligned with evolving business priorities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to solve contractual, technical, and financial issues with partners, and effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
  • Excellent relationship-building, problem-solving, communication, attention to details, and investigative skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are on the front line, interacting with Google leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners alike, helping to realize the greatest potential for the products. You have outstanding strategic and investigate skills, allowing you to identify critical market opportunities and key user insights, helping to drive strong go-to-market (GTM) plans. You have the ability to clarify and communicate complex issues and exhibit strong attention to detail. You have exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills, your ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management, is a foundational requirement.

You will use exceptional relationship-building skills to build mutually beneficial opportunities that best represent the users and products. You are excited to be close to product development, working alongside PMs and other cross-functional teams to realize product goals. With a strong sense of urgency, you have the ability to make things happen quickly, and to thrive in a fluid, ambiguous yet collaborative environment.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with multiple high-stakes partners as a key contributor to Search and Gemini product goals. You will manage existing partnerships, launch new relationships, as well as drive new business opportunities, resolve business issues, and analyze and track key metrics to identify trends.
  • Drive end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration, which includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner issues, and advocating on behalf of the partner.
  • Executing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with ambitious goals to establish new products in India by establishing and signing new partnerships.
  • Influence across the team and with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align resources and direction for go-to-market strategy or partner initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with local and global teams (including product, engineering, gTech team, legal, policy).
