Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in brand marketing, performance marketing and audiovisual landscape in the US.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Ability to travel to the US as needed to support client relationship building, management, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in networking.
  • Ability to articulate customer strategy/business objectives into compelling media solutions.
  • Ability to drive results through effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to grow in dynamic working groups.

As an Industry Manager, you will be responsible for driving customers' growth. You will be driving digital transformation, business planning and media sales goals. You will have knowledge of Google’s performance and brand products, with a strong focus on how they address customer business objectives. You will be an excellent seller with a clear focus on pipeline management for all quarters within the customer financial year.

As a US dedicated Industry Manager you will act as a point of contact for customers with respect to any matters concerning growing in the US. You will enable Google to strengthen relationships with US-based decision makers (including customer teams and agencies). You will provide customers with a tailored level of support for US expansion. You will tap into local specialists in the US, in order to access US insights and resources.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients transform their business and gain significant market share in the US by adopting Google advertising solutions and developing US oriented growth strategies.
  • Flex the partnership with existing account teams to ensure US market efforts are adequately integrated within the global Joint Business Plan (JBP)/Account Plan.
  • Travel to the US (1 week every month) to navigate Google's USA ecosystem and build x-regional relationships to effectively tap into existing forums and communities, and drive synergies by lifting and shifting available insights, resources and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of products and features available in the USA, especially market-specific solutions, alphas and betas, analyse data trends and client performance, and develop solid strategic client account plans.
  • Lead clients transformation in SEM and YouTube and Display by having a deep understanding of their US business and marketing objectives.
