Learning and Development Program Designer and Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Program Management certification or experience in Program Management with a technology company.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience working in learning design and working with senior stakeholders and customers, acting as trusted advisor.
  • Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.

We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

As a Learning and Development Program Designer and Manager, you are responsible for ensuring gTech Ads colleagues have the capabilities they need to perform in their role. This includes helping them to be role ready upon initial onboarding, through to continuous professional development in role, to achieve and constantly reinforce expert level.

You are responsible for creating and managing programs that build product knowledge, technical expertise, and professional skills. Working with colleagues in product, activation and the business vertical(s), you'll manage to understand the knowledge and capabilities required for each specific role.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with business leaders to diagnose the business challenge and what knowledge, skills, and expertise is required to ensure success for each role in their organization.
  • Co-develop the strategy and own the roadmap for L&D programs across one or more gTech Ads verticals, agreeing performance metrics in partnership with gSO and business leads.
  • Perform day-to-day program management to ensure onboarding and up skilling initiatives are executed to plan. Partner with other team members to ensure consistency and best practice in program approach.
  • Utilize new and existing AI approaches to improve execution accuracy, scale and efficiency across program/content delivery, practice and assessment.
  • Ensure all programs and activity are effectively tracked and reported to allow leaders to monitor progress and quality.
