As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will lead the pixel product launch and sustain production through End of Production (EOP), leveraging specialized expertise in consumer electronics product life cycles and manufacturing. You will master strategic production planning within a complex, global operations, incorporating deep knowledge of materials management, production capacity, and quality issue resolution. This expertise is critical for ensuring on-time delivery and a seamless transition from New Product Introduction (NPI) to sustaining operations. You will use your communication and problem-solving skills to bridge United States and China teams, resolving critical ramp and mass production issues, and guaranteeing product quality.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.
  • Process all Product Release Qualification (PRQ) and CR (Change Request) requests, driving bug progress, and leading cross-functional teams through initial reviews, qualification plan development, PRQ/CR execution, result reviews, and securing necessary approvals for input/implementation.
  • Drive quality alert issues, drive communications for all quality issues to cross-functional teams and leadership for highlights and updates.
  • Provide strategic guidance for PRQ execution plans, including proposing optimized PRQ/CR train plans to achieve cost savings.
  • Evaluate and analyze supply chain risks, making critical decisions regarding PRQ prioritization based on a multitude of factors including material readiness, cost-to-build (CTB), yield/UPH (Units Per Hour), and cost impact.
