Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in sales and partner management within the hardware industry.
- Experience in team management, including leading, developing teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing commercial agreements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience establishing and managing strategic partnerships.
- Experience in agreement structuring and agreement management, including negotiation and execution.
- Understanding of the telecommunications and smartphone industries.
- Understanding of business strategy and the ability to translate it into actionable plans to achieve business goals.
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to and influence executive audiences.
About the job
The Carrier team focuses on Google-branded hardware across product categories. Our team is responsible for managing partnerships with our top carriers, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with marketing, product & engineering, finance and retail marketing teams internally, and with our carrier counterparts across these disciplines.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing partnerships with carrier partners in the UK and Ireland, including developing channel strategy, negotiating commercial terms, marketing and merchandising, and overall market share goals. We partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail, Product and Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal internally, and with our carrier counterparts across these disciplines.
You will be responsible for driving Business and profitability, resulting in market-share results across carrier channels, and is a Senior Manager interface for Partners within the Google organisation. You will also be involved in product planning and own the Go-to-Market strategy for Devices and Services.

Responsibilities
- Lead the introduction, sales and Partner management of Google hardware products and associated services.
- Manage a team of Carrier Strategic Partner Managers and Associate Carrier Partner Managers.
- Build and maintain effective C-Level business relationships within partner organizations.
- Lead the design and implementation of strategic commercial agreements with carrier partners, setting and managing plans.
- Serve as the primary business interface, internally and externally, advocating partner requirements and collaborating cross-functionally to execute initiatives and influence decision-making for long-term growth.
