- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++).
- 3 years of experience analyzing data, database querying (e.g., SQL), and creating dashboards/reports.
- 3 years of experience designing data pipelines (ETL) and dimensional data modeling for synch and asynch system integration and implementation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science.
- 3 years of experience partnering with stakeholders (e.g., users, partners, customers).
- 3 years of experience developing project plans and delivering projects on time within budget and scope.
- Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., PLX, Tableu, PowerBI, Looker).
- Familiarity with Google Ads products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to deliver findings of analysis.

Within Google Customer Solutions (GCS), the Product and Sales Activation (PSA) team is responsible for performance and brand solutions for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) advertisers around the world, from large mid-market companies to local mom and pop shops. We are the product and business experts behind the thousands of GCS Googlers that are responsible for driving sustainable business growth and product adoption. We identify opportunities through analysis, build consensus with stakeholders, and program manage cross-functional teams to drive GCS advertiser success and business growth.
In this role, you will build and maintain the core data infrastructure that supports our sales and partner teams’ operations and enables those teams to execute on our product objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive aspects of data infrastructure, solution design, and development (e.g., requirements gathering, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance). As a individual contributor, you will demonstrate core data and product knowledge, an understanding of technologies and methods, and an ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. You will also engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations, making Google a better place to work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Operate a robust, stable infrastructure, working closely with Engineering teams and cross-functional partners to continuously drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain data models, pipelines, and SQL scripts to assist in the visualization, analysis, and interpretation of data.
- Perform data analysis and profiling using relevant tools, leveraging the data infrastructure and existing data models with minimal guidance.
- Work with clients to identify their needs and clarify requirements and enable data-driven decision-making by collecting, transforming, and publishing data.
- Follow and improve upon the technical best practices, including making data discoverable, thinking about the lifecycle of data, and managing master data well.
