Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages in C++ or Java.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.
- Experience with SAP database, business processes management (ERP) systems, their architecture and integrations.
- Experience in the design and architecture of investigative or database systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AI and AI integrations for data management systems.
- Experience in partnering with industry stakeholders to establish technical architecture and drive integration projects, encompassing the creation of necessary solutions.

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will drive strategic industry partnerships and integrations for a pivotal, customer-loved Google Cloud data warehousing solution. This role involves architecting and leading the implementation of complex technical integrations, including developing key extensions for query processing, metadata, and AI. You will be instrumental in expanding the capabilities and market reach of a product that's a major growth driver for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects while guiding and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Drive strategic industry partner integrations, optimizing their software performance on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams and industry partners, and communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Architect and implement core data warehousing features, including query processing, storage, metadata, and AI.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
