Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
- 8 years of experience in transformation and consulting within engineering services and AI data workflows.
- 5 years of experience leading vendor strategy and operations for software development projects, at a technology company.
- Experience in vendor managment/operations.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in translating AI advancements and intelligent automation capabilities into engineering vendor solutions and commercial models (e.g., PPU, managed services).
- Understanding of the engineering services and AI landscape, and with AI data operations workflows, including Human-in-the-Loop (HiTL), RLHF, and red-teaming.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor and partner.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally and at the executive level.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

In this role, you will act as a advisor to Google Cloud leadership, supporting the implementation of the Vendor Management Office (VMO) roadmap. You will have knowledge in transformation consulting, alongside core engineering services and the AI Data operations sector, including reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) and human-in-the-loop (HiTL).

Responsibilities
- Use market research to benchmark costs and streamline agreement lifecycles, enhancing overall operational efficiency. Create detailed service requirements and summary reports.
- Design custom solutions covering location and commercial terms to maximize value and adhere to industry best practices.
- Lead Cloud vendor strategy including sourcing and contracting. Embed AI as a core component of solutions.
- Develop scalable, cost-optimal operating models. Manage the overall relationship and drive influence with the business teams.
- Manage or work within AI data operations workflows, including human-in-the-loop (HiTL), model evaluations (RLHF/supervised fine-tuning (SFT), and red-teaming/safety annotation. Execute vendor strategy and contracting specifically for Cloud Engineering and AI Solutions requirements.
