  • 12 years of experience in digital media sales, digital advertising, or digital marketing.
  • Experience in working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business development, client relationship and servicing, and solution-based promotion.
  • Experience in sales/operations management and strategic planning.
  • Experience with nonprofits.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital brand media advertising, engaged landscape and Google Workspace of products.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of building relationships with executive stakeholders.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. The Government and Advocacy vertical works across our largest nonprofit organizations, the US Government, and the multi-partisan political landscape. The businesses we support are equally brand and performance focused, with Customer Business Objectives that range from lead generation and fundraising to behavior change and voter mobilization. The Government and Advocacy team is passionate about media, marketing, and the value Google can drive in this space.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$275,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Set and drive business strategy, business growth, and product adoption for our largest nonprofit advertisers.
  • Build trust and relationships across C-level industry stakeholders (i.e., CEOs, CMOs, CFOs, Media buyers, and Agency partners).
  • Engage with cross-functional talent to deliver insights, ideas, and customer service that drives growth for customers and Google.
  • Offer thought leadership and deliver a point of view as a media expert in the nonprofit industry.
  • Manage a team, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values.
