Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in software development with Python, Java, C++, or Golang.
- 3 years of experience developing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
- 3 years of experience with full-stack development, including back-end (Python, Java, C++, Golang) and front-end (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- 2 years of experience with machine learning infrastructure, including model evaluation and data processing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role, including mentoring engineers.
- Experience designing and implementing evaluation infrastructure for AI/ML models.
- Experience developing accessible technologies and AI systems.
- Ability to collaborate across teams to drive process improvements and standardization.

In this role you will ensure the quality and reliability of AI/ML systems.you will be focuses on developing innovative evaluation frameworks to enhance model performance, address challenges such as data sourcing, contextual handling, and internationalization, and drive the standardization of evaluation methodologies. Ensuring quality evaluation is critical for delivering AI-driven products that meet user expectations and industry standards.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Autoeval framework to support LLM-based evaluation needs.
- Collaborate with feature teams to design and implement evaluation methodologies.
- Review and improve evaluation infrastructure to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and extensibility.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers working on evaluation tasks.
- Debug and resolve evaluation-related issues, ensuring seamless integration with Assistant features.
