As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.The Network planning and Acquisition (GNA) Americas team's mission is to secure network infrastructure for the Google Cloud and Production network. Our team includes subject matter experts that are comfortable designing network solutions that involve dark fiber, co-location space, and cable landing stations. We structure agreements to acquire existing networks or build new assets to meet the needs of the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that projects are scoped and transitioned during the lifecycle of network orders for space and power, fiber optic, and wavelength services.
- Develop and grow commercial relationships with contractors and vendors, such as developing plans, negotiating agreements, and overseeing fiber construction projects, and build-out schedules, along with ensuring adherence to agreement specifications, completion of related deliverables, and monitoring existing programs.
- Develop and manage bid processing across multiple vendors, evaluate alternatives and develop cost estimates for project-specific feasibility studies.
- Prepare or review drawings, maps, scopes of work and other materials to describe projects to external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Draft and execute space and power, fiber optic, and wavelength service orders under existing master agreements. Collaborate internally on the design and build-out of co-location facilities.
