Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in product line planning, defining and shipping consumer electronics, including wearables, earbuds, smartphones, tablets, smart home, etc.
  • Experience in delivering innovative and user-friendly products.
  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, advocating initiatives, and driving product decisions.
  • Experience with software development in embedded systems.
  • Experience with consumer health, ML/AI.
  • Familiarity with device architecture, modules, components, system software, silicon and other foundational blocks of the stack.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Wearable Device Product Manager, you will define, build, and deliver next generations of our health focused wearables, combining Hardware, Software, and AI that has a meaningful impact on peoples’ lives. You will work at the intersection of consumer hardware, consumer health, and an inflection point in computing enabled by AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

In this role, you will drive end-to-end development of our next generations of wearable devices from concepting all the way to launch, including definition of hardware, proposition, co-partnering to deliver and enable delightful and differentiated software/health experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Curate product definition and communicate Hardware and Software requirements for next generation wearable, including synthesizing a variety of insights through discovery and concepting while also driving decision making on nuanced product trade-offs informed by key user journeys, technical insights, and product strategy.
  • Own and manage the entire product life-cycle from product concept and definition through development, launch and end of life, including collaborating with engineering and many support teams across Google.
  • Drive growth of our overall product, expanding the reach of our devices to more users, growing the business and our impact.
  • Influence the long term of our product line, product strategy, and roadmap including long-term goal, user segment insights, technical innovation, market trends, and platform capabilities.
