Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently in order to interact with partners in the market.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
- Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous scenarios across various market landscapes and a variety of partner profiles.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
The Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships team helps Google build products by leading our engagement with a wide range of external partners. We enable strong, locally relevant products by negotiating and managing things like content partnerships (e.g., data licensing agreements) and actions integrations (e.g., collaborations that let users do things like reserve a table). These partnerships help build and differentiate Google’s products in several areas, including: Search, Gemini, Geo (Maps, Local), Research and Machine Intelligence, as well as Commerce and Ads.
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager for Search and Gemini, you will shape the go-to-market strategy for these and other core products, help us build, launch and scale the next generation of these products across Indonesia and APAC. You will interact with Google leadership, cross-functional teams and external partners, help to realize the potential of our products. You will identify critical market opportunities and key user insights and drive go-to-market plans. You will clarify and communicate complex issues and exhibit attention to detail. You will have stakeholder relationship management skills, communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex strategic partnerships that are often first-of-its-kind agreements and manage implementations and relationships.
- Identify gaps and drive strategy where Search and Gemini and other key product areas need to innovate, create opportunities for growth in Indonesia.
- Drive go-to-market planning for key features across Search and Gemini, help design and work collaboratively to execute scalable content acquisition programs. Lead research and conduct engaged analysis to determine our content categories and vertical strategies.
- Design and implement processes and policies to improve Google’s ability to partner at scale, ensure partners are fulfilling their agreement obligations and Google is providing the required support.
- Drive collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders at Google (e.g., tech, legal, marketing, sales), provide feedback from partners and market intelligence, to Google’s product teams with the goal of creating more locally relevant product offerings.
