Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, or risk management.
- Experience with data analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience reviewing, drafting, remediating and validating controls.
- Experience designing, implementing and overseeing regulatory compliance programs intended to satisfy regulations and policy requirements for key trust domains.
- Experience designing and delivering long-term, scaled technical or operational projects.
- Experience managing a variety of cross-functional stakeholders and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Knowledge and Information (K&I) Trust’s Regulatory Activation and Compliance (RAC) team is a dedicated group of professionals who work to ensure our products and services are developed and operated in a compliant and responsible manner. Our mission is to work closely with product area compliance leads to embed compliance into the fabric of Knowledge and Information (K&I) products, enabling our businesses to innovate boldly while maintaining user trust. In addition to product teams, we work closely with engineering, legal, operations, and other cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risks, providing critical guidance and building scalable compliance solutions.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Collaborate with the Strategic Regulatory Front-End Review (SRFER) team to leverage regulatory intelligence during compliance product scoping.
- Coordinate the completion of critical compliance deliverables for high-priority regulations related to user trust in partnership with product teams.
- Partner with Knowledge and Information (K&I) and central compliance teams to drive cross-K&I compliance programs and remediate regulatory controls.
- Contribute to cross-functional governance and compliance reporting initiatives across the organization.
- Assist in developing compliance tools, frameworks, and standards, working closely with Regulatory Activation (RA) and Regulatory Compliance Infrastructure (RCI) to ensure alignment.
