Minimum qualifications:

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant in the Better Together team, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive strategic projects across the Android partner ecosystem. You will play a key role in shaping a multi-device user experience across the entire Android ecosystem by collaborating with peripheral makers, chipset vendors, device makers, and other industry leaders to launch innovative new features and enable technologies. You will establish strong partnerships and demonstrate technical leadership in multiple major projects. You will be instrumental in launching key experiences across various Android ecosystem devices, ensuring Google remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Technical POC of our ecosystem partnership (audio equipment, speaker manufacturers), encompassing launches, interoperability testings, new feature alignments, etc. to ensure seamless integration of Better Together experiences across platforms.
  • Act as the vital link between our Engineering, Engineering Productivity, Product, Business Development teams and our partners. By translating technical requirements and challenges, you will drive engineering priorities that meet partners' needs and our product objectives.
  • Serve as the technical expert, providing partners with guidance and support that drive cross-platform integration. Work closely with the partner ecosystem to align with their launch roadmaps, understand specific integration requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues to help scale unified and seamless multi-device experience.
  • Travel to partner sites as necessary to foster relationships, discuss roadmaps, and provide targeted technical support, ensuring success of the collaboration.
