Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of software engineering experience or 13 years with an advanced degree
- Experience in GenAI, User-feedback, Language Modeling, Recommender Systems, Personalization, Machine Learning Infrastructure, RL, or RM systems
- Experience with deep learning frameworks and ML in Python
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field
- 20 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience with cross-organizational collaboration and influencing other teams' directions and roadmaps
- Experience delivering successfully within time-sensitive timelines
- Technical expertise, with the ability to solve complex engineering problems
- Excellent organization, prioritization skills; written and verbal communication skills; and analytical and problem solving skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $294,000-$414,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Extract and develop continuous and clean user-feedback signals.
- Support the incorporation of user-feedback into the Core Modeling systems.
- Develop LE and experimentation systems that allow for the automated feedback systems to be trusted.
- Drive quality hill-climbing outcomes with impact on product metrics of Helpfulness, Factuality, and Trust.
- Develop novel Reinforcement Learning mechanisms (with partner teams), including the incorporation of implicit and explicit feedback into this area and Reward Models.
