Senior Account Executive, MMS, GCS (English, Mandarin)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, digital marketing, or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
  • 4 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.
  • Ability to assess and solve customer needs via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
  • Ability to exhibit thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling as an engagement strategy.

The Mid-Market Sales (MMS) team is a growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow fast growing businesses in China. Through relationship development, we are dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success. In this role, you will provide Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis. You will anticipate how decisions are made, explore and uncover the business needs of Google's clients, and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a partnership with executives and serve as a consultant to expand their advertising investment.
  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes growth, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for growth.
  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Coach teammates in the organization to expand skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, key strategies and metrics for success.
