Technical Program Manager, Workspace Monetization

  • 10 years of experience in product, engineering, operations, or technical consulting roles.

  • Experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or a related technical field.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in a software program management role in cloud computing.
  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience executing product launch or go-to-market processes and launch execution.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The mission of the Workspace Monetization team is to drive business growth by empowering customers to discover, adopt, and embrace Workspace. This team is responsible for the entire commercialization strategy for the business and owns top-level revenue OKRs at the Cloud and Workspace level.

Our team is organized into several key pillars, including growth, commerce, and admin experience, and is comprised of TPMs and Software Engineers. Success requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional partners—such as PM, UX, DS, UXR, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Support—as well as with teams across other product areas.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of TPMs for Workspace Monetization.
  • Own the program management for a team of software engineers.
  • Drive mission-critical commercial success programs and collaborate with many cross-functional and corss-product area partners.
  • Be responsible for the successful execution of a rich portfolio of growth, infrastructure, and AI projects.
