Partner Development Manager, Shopping (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing and aligning stakeholders to achieve shared goals and drive the implementation of shopping solutions.
  • Experience in C-level client relationship development, and multi-market digital media planning and execution.
  • Experience in digital advertising.
  • Understanding of the Google auction.
  • Ability to translate data sets into a client-friendly narrative.

As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of Comparison Shopping Services (CSS) and drive individual impact across the shopping landscape. You will be an advisor, understanding CSS needs and delivering solutions that help grow businesses and deliver value to merchants.

industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how
Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Build C-level relationships with Comparison Shopping Services (CSSs), and develop an understanding of their business challenges.
  • Serve as a central connector between sales teams, advertisers and CSS's to improve advertiser success within the CSS ecosystem.
  • Collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups and regions in Google, including sales, product, marketing, tech, and supporting teams.
  • Analyze trends and client performance, develop business plans. Prepare and conduct pitches and business presentations.
  • Advocate standard procedures and manage Shopping Ads business growth.
