Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SQL.
- Experience with business forecasting and reporting.
- Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Ability to effortlessly multi-task in a changing, constantly evolving environment and organized, detail oriented and focused.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
In this role, you will help in improving the tracking, understanding and forecasting of business for Play Apps and Games. This is a global, and multi faceted industry with significant Google business, and an opportunity to deliver impactful insights. In addition, your role will support emerging product and business initiatives, thinking critically through financial implications, return on investment analysis, and risk management. You will have the technical analysis as well as the acumen and ability to think strategically and communicate effectively.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$132,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Forecast, track, and create insightful reporting to executive finance and cross-functional stakeholders on business performance of Google Play Games and Apps.
- Analyze trends, drivers, and key metrics to understand the health of the business.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations in support of emerging projects and business opportunities, particularly for the Play Games vertical.
- Improve efficiency of AI powered tools in all core financial processes.
