As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager in the Trust and Safety Applied AI team, you will shape and execute the AI-Powered Trust and Safety mission and leverage AI solutions to ensure Google stays ahead of abuse and delivers trusted and safe experiences to all users. You will partner with Trust and Safety Analysts and Core Engineers to define requirements and execute on implementation of transformative solutions for Trust and Safety Operations, with a focus on AI implementations. You will also partner with Trust and Safety stakeholders to ensure a smooth business rollout and consistent monitoring and measurement of business impact metrics of AI solutions in Trust and Safety.

A team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of Applied AI strategy, including defining clear objectives, identifying key risk areas, and establishing a unified approach to driving change through AI solutions across Trusted Experience teams.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment on Applied AI priorities across Trust and Safety.
  • Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with data and insights, coordinate the tracking and scoring of progress against metric goals.
  • Partner with Trust and Safety stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI automation, support the development of clear business requirements and technical roadmaps.
  • Lead negotiations with cross-functional partners throughout the implementation of the technical solutions, identifying risks and creating mitigation plans.
