Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Media, Entertainment, Gaming, Music, Toy, Consumer Electronics or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the Kids, Family or YouTube content industry.
  • Experience with project management using project execution frameworks, and with negotiation and effective execution of agreements.
  • Experience achieving product adoption, and content and growth goals for external partners.
  • Ability to analyze data to create insights that are actionable for external partners.
  • Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills, attention to detail, facilitation of small and large events, writing and delivery.

The YouTube Youth Business organization is focused on expanding and supporting high quality content for children and teens on YouTube and YouTube Kids.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will provide strategic guidance on partner business plans, drive product adoption, negotiate agreements and secure content for coverage. You will build a network of partners to engage in programs, surface unique cross-Google activations and represent YouTube at events. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve partners issues and educate partners on policies and best practices. You will engage creators for pilots and beta testing and develop pitch resources.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow partnerships with a portfolio of creators and media companies and develop new partnership opportunities.
  • Support partners to understand and adopt YouTube products or features to grow their channels and audience. Execute against key distribution and product adoption metrics.
  • Analyze and track metrics to identify trends and highlight issues to ensure performance growth.
  • Work with teams across the YouTube Business Organization and cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Sales, Marketing, Policy, Comms, Legal, etc.) to resolve business issues and scale opportunities.
  • Implement projects, including workshops, events and other initiatives to share best practices with partners and peers.
