Account Executive, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in one or more of the vertical sectors, including Digital Natives, Start-Ups, ISVs or Technology Partners.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

As an Account Executive at Google, you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology for this segment of high potential set of digitally native customers. You will be responsible for focusing on scaling programs that drive adoption in named accounts, business, and market entrance across your assigned accounts.

In this role, you will have a technical knowledge and a proven track record in technology sales that enables them to drive engagement at the C-suite level as well as with software developers and IT architects.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Google Cloud Platform (GCP) business growth for our ISV customers. Build and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further the adoption of GCP services in the market.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales strategies and successful go-to-market engagements to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Help our customers transform their businesses through innovation and deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Develop and work with partners to extend the reach and drive Google cloud adoption.
  • Work with Google Ads and Google Cloud Account teams to develop, drive pipeline, provide guidance, and work with partners to develop campaigns.
