Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working in technology and the Public Sector within Sales, Contracts and Deals, Legal, or similar functions.
  • Experience negotiating agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Public Sector legal negotiations, Public Sector Deal Desk, or process improvement and design.
  • Experience in redlining.
  • Industry experience working with US Public Sector or IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills with knowledge of the key business issues in government contracts.
  • Ability to read and understand contractual terms.

About the job

The Contracts and Deal Execution (CDE) team is instrumental in structuring, discussing, executing, and managing agreements for GPS. As a CDE member, you will have the primary responsibility of managing all phases (strategizing, planning, managing escalations, negotiating, and closing) of the contracting process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with Public Sector sellers, partners, and customers to lead agreement structure with internal and external teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to internal stakeholder groups including Sales Leadership, Global Business Practices, Legal, Pricing, Finance, and Product.
  • Build relationships with teams to accelerate deals, drive continuous process improvement, attend forecast calls, staff meetings, and business reviews to keep apprised of priorities.
  • Work collaboratively across GPS with leaders to formulate and advance initiatives that result in increasing revenue, efficiently closing agreements, and expanding agreement throughput.
  • Validate all aspects of contractual packages for accuracy and compliance with GPS’ policies, processes, and general contractual posture.
