Program Manager, Business Intelligence

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience with data warehouses, data models, dashboards and reporting, involving datasets and multiple data sources.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 2 years of experience in an operations environment, supporting or managing a telecommunications or data networking business unit.
  • Experience within Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, or operation excellence frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

You will serve in various ways, supporting Network Delivery Implementation (NDI) and wider Global Network Delivery (GND) organizations. In this position you will be responsible for providing data, trend, and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of our business intelligence framework enabling measurement of project performance against critical path, with insights for cost and quality.
  • Build the business justification for continuous improvement projects based on trends and analysis from business intelligence framework.
  • Work as organization’s subject matter expert in wider team standards, policy and tooling development.
  • Collate and deliver presentations to multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders for program updates.
  • Develop metrics and data insights dashboards to facilitate project review meetings.
