As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Core Enterprise System (CES) SRE is part of corporate engineering Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). We provide SRE support to Enterprise applications within Google, powering key verticals such as finance, legal, supply chain, and human resources. Our mission is to deliver service excellence with engineering, innovation and customer focus and transform Google's enterprise domain.

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain Alphabet's enterprise SAP landscape.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$311,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop comprehensive SAP architectural blueprints that align with business requirements and tactical goals.
  • Advocate for SRE principles for SAP with executive stakeholders to improve resiliency and efficiency of Alphabet's SAP systems.
  • Define and enforce SAP architectural standards and best practices.
  • Maintain deep expertise in SAP modules and technologies, including S/4HANA and cloud solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) roadmaps and emerging technologies.
