Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partner management, program management, consulting, or strategy, in various Social Impact spaces.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or contracts.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with government agencies (local/state/federal), NGOs, or related experience at Google or another company in business development, partnerships, product management, general management, sales or other related fields.
- Experience designing and implementing processes and policies.
- Experience in advancing social impact causes.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to structure partnership models and handle technical, contractual, and financial issues.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize issues with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
In this role, you will develop and execute global partnerships that enable product teams to meet goals for efforts that address user needs across social impact topic areas.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Product and other cross-functional teams to drive Social Impact product partnerships from concept to launch to ongoing partner management.
- Define partnership strategy, identify new product-enabling partnership opportunities, and develop go-to-market plans for product efforts.
- Source and value potential partnerships, perform due diligence on the partner/content, and lead an agreement through execution or scale partner adoption as necessary for a new product ecosystem.
- Understand product launches/plans and implications for Google and its partners. Lead related internal and external communication and strategies.
- Manage coordination with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, Policy, PR, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Finance) and other partnership teams, including regional counterparts around the world. Support cross functional initiatives to advance Google’s broader Social Impact mission.
