Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience leading initiatives on behalf of an executive leadership team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business process management, continuous improvement, resource management and financial planning
  • Experience leading operational and initiatives involving distinctive project management, problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional stakeholder management and the ability to lead through influence.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills, with an understanding of the implications of critical business issues.

In this role, you will support all of People Operations in achieving business goals to deliver People Strategy and the needs of Googlers. You will support the Chief People Officer and the POps Leadership Team in aligning resources to the across multiyear, annual, and in-year horizons, and scenarios.

You will be collaborative and passionate about success, adept at balancing thinking with attention to detail. You will communicate clearly to inform leadership decisions, bringing structure to problems and designing/delivering solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead resource planning and serve as the go-to for Headcount and Operational Expenditure management and governance, including policy development and ongoing coordination with Recruiting, Finance, Analytics and Functional StratOps.
  • Facilitate tradeoff decisions, and maintain a source of including RAID (risks, actions, issues and decisions) log to keep track of decision outcomes.
  • Support the People Operations leadership team through the development, execution, optimization and maintenance of central strategy and operational program porfolio. Examples could include People Operations location strategy, HR benchmarking, global service strategy, etc.
  • Assess opportunity areas using quantitative and qualitative data and insights and synthesize information into formats to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Serve as a thought partner, trusted advisor and change agent with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders.
