Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Experience with C/C++, Java, TypeScript, or Python programming languages, and Android/Linux systems.
- Experience troubleshooting using common web technologies and with video streaming technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in software focused program/project management and in the business technology market and working with engineering, sales and marketing teams in networking.
- Experience working with embedded devices, Consumer Electronics manufacturers, SoC providers, and Pay TV Operators.
- Experience with Android TV or similar TV platform architecture.
- Experience in cross-functional initiatives in a structured as well as ambiguous environment.
- Ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
About the job
As a Partner Engineer on the Devices Platform Operations team, you will lead deployments, optimize implementations, and manage integrations to build device partnerships. You will own technical engagements and will find creative/innovative solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead projects and teams that require collaboration with other teams like Product, Engineering, Business Development, Operations and Marketing. You will play a role in improving existing operations, defining and commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations and taking new initiatives from conception to deployment. You will balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative solutions, and act as a partner and consultant. You will build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Responsibilities
- Lead implementation reviews, new product features, and ensure resolution of technical challenges.
- Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
- Identify, drive, and optimize business growth from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies, and work with in-region vendors to support various work streams.
- Align with internal partners across the Android ecosystem to support collaboration on a number of mutual projects to help launch YouTube on the Google TV platform.
