Senior Product Manager, DevOps, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • Experience building products in the devops space, related to CI/CD.
  • Experience working with Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) platform.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 3 years of experience working in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery space.
  • Experience working with Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and Github Actions.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The mission of the Dev2Prod organization is to make Google Cloud Platform (GCP) the most attractive cloud platform for enterprise applications by making the path from code-to-cloud remarkably simple, fast, secure, and scalable, regardless of where code is developed. Our charter spans products across the Google Cloud DevOps portfolio including Source Code Management, CI/CD, Artifact Management, Secure Software Delivery, third-party connectivity, and more.

This role will focus on CI/CD technology, specifically supporting our Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy products and other related efforts.

Cloud Build's mission is to help Googlers and GCP customers build better software faster and more securely by providing CI/CD workflow automation.

Cloud Deploy's mission is to drive GCP workload and business growth by enabling enterprise innovation through continuous delivery.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Own and define the vision and strategy for Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, and related efforts.
  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap for supported projects.
  • Work in alignment and collaborate with third-party partners in the CI/CD space.
  • Work closely with cross-organization/cross-functional partners to align goals, user experience, information experience, and prioritization.
  • Drive go-to-market strategies and activities in collaboration with with cross-functional teams like outbound Product Management, Developer Relations, and Product Marketing.
