Field Activation Lead, Workspace

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in sales operations, enablement, or in a customer facing roles.
  • Experience in delivering scaled GTM motions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving scaled GTM processes specifically within Workspace, and selling Cloud products.
  • Experience with content creation and narrative development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, import/export talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Ability to define/execute GTM processes, analytics, and reporting to scale the business.
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to deliver a business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and Board levels.

About the job

As a GTM Field Activation Lead for Google Cloud, you will bring your experience and thought leadership to help drive the goal, mission, and strategy around GTM’s Workspace activation strategy. The goals of the Field Activation function are to 1) Enable all roles for the Workspace sales play as they engage with customers and partners, and 2) Establish active communities, listening strategies, and feedback loops to fuel continuous iterations. You will partner with the field to implement changes that improve frontline productivity and drive customer success. The Field Activation Lead is accountable for sourcing customer insights and channeling them back to the field to drive seller productivity, and quantifying field adoption through success metrics such as active opportunities, opportunity conversion rates, win rates, etc.

You will showcase strong analytical and program management skills by determining key focus areas to drive field activation and delivering programs designed to address noted skill gaps. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Learning and Development, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Partners and Sales. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to develop and execute skilling programs to enable sellers to deliver on sales plays.
  • Provide feedback from the field and from customers to continuously improve and iterate on activation strategies in order to drive solutions and improve business performance.
  • Establish a mechanism for tracking seller engagement and agreement status as a result of business activation programs.
  • Work across partners in Learning and Enablement, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Strategy and Operations to help drive towards achieving business targets.
