As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will lead how Google optimizes daily logistics processes by incorporating current industry standards and best practices. You will be responsible for managing continuous process improvement recommendations and implementing operational changes, standardizing user documentation, and interacting with all partner teams to motivate action. You will initiate and oversee operational improvement efforts for Google Cloud Logistics, analyze performance impacts to inform strategy, and work with key stakeholders to drive innovation. Finally, you will create high-level presentations and documentation for the leadership team highlighting operational performance and key improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$159,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day logistics operations management and manage Third-Party Logistics (3PL) vendors operating warehouses and data centers in assigned locations to ensure they consistently meet aligned Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain business continuity.
  • Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and vendor performance scorecards, while developing business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements. Maintain ownership of quarterly/annual budgeting, invoice control, and capital improvement projects within assigned locations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams) to reduce end-to-end delivery cycle times.
  • Engage with Google stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and joint opportunities to scale the business efficiently.
  • Drive opportunity initiatives to address obstacles for forward and reverse material flows into and out of data centers and warehouses.
