As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.
In this role, you will use your expertise in corporate tax, specializing in the complex fiscal challenges inherent to the global internet and technology sector. You will find ways to work smarter by streamlining and automating our tax processes and systems, and find ways to be both innovative and compliant.
You will be primarily responsible for providing technical and investigative support for strategic planning initiatives across Google business areas. You will focus on the design, implementation, and documentation of transfer pricing structures and policies. Your key relationships and stakeholders will range from tax experts, business partners, and accounting/finance experts.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead technical Transfer Pricing (TP) analysis for Cloud and Infrastructure initiatives, ensuring global regulatory alignment and strategic business integration. Design and implement TP policies for new product launches and business models in collaboration with the tax team and external advisors.
- Partner across Business, Finance, and Accounting to ensure TP policies are operationally feasible and accurately reflect functions, assets, and risks.
- Document key value drivers by engaging with technical business partners to translate operational workflows into robust functional and economic analyses.
- Defend technical positions during tax audits and inquiries by preparing comprehensive responses to Information Document Requests (IDRs).
- Monitor global regulatory developments, such as OECD updates, while managing continuous process improvements and ensuring accuracy in intercompany calculations.
