Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
  • Experience in an external brand, advertising or creative agency, or leading an in-house creative team at an oraganization.
  • A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in (brand, interactive, conceptual, experiential, or technology) design.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience navigating organizations to lead and mobilize cross-functional teams in the delivery of impactful creative content and brand experiences.
  • Experience articulating marketing goals and creative concepts to executive stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to uncover insights into brands, products, and target audiences to inform impactful creative strategies.
  • Demonstrated impactful creative ideas and output across various content mediums (e.g., film, physical environments, interactive experiences, keynotes, and social/broadcast assets).

About the job

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.

The Events and Experiences team is part of the Google Marketing organization. This specialist team brings the brand, products and services of Google to life through physical, digital and hybrid experiences.

As a Senior Creative Lead, you will collaborate across multiple Google teams and departments to design and deliver creatively and commercially impactful content and experiences. You will be working on some of Google's highest profile product launch moments in the US, including but not limited to leading the wider creative team’s involvement in digital, physical and live event content. In this role, you will be responsible for taking projects from strategic and creative development right through to production and execution.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the concept, development and presentation of innovative and impactful creative that further strengthens Google’s brand and market position, from films to keynote screen content, to interactive technology demos to digital experiences.
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams of creative professionals both internally and externally.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and feedback to creative and production project team members.
