Strategy and Operations Manager II, Google Cloud (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.
  • Experience in managing rhythm of business activities, such as annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires daily communication with global teams in English.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, and knowledge of Enterprise customers, cloud technologies, products and market landscape.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, Google Sheets, SQL, Looker, etc. to solve problems, influence business leadership, measure outcomes, and evolve recommendations based on results.
  • Ability to tailor and deliver compelling reports and presentations to the audience, asking strategic questions, and lead conversations that drive results and efficiencies.
  • Ability to successfully deliver priority initiatives, process improvements, and manage change.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager for Google Cloud Go-to-Market, you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on the key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. You will be responsible for helping with planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans and managing the rhythm of the business activities. You will provide business insights, ensure cross-functional alignment, drive strategic partnerships, and execute new initiatives. The organization's goal is to align company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision-making around core business decisions, such as prioritization of growth opportunities, through scalable and actionable investigative insights to increase productivity.
  • Be a trusted advisor to your organization and their leadership team, communicate, structure, and problem-solving complex and ambiguous business challenges and support organization priorities.
  • Run and improve operations by launching new programs, target setting, streamline processes, automate tasks, identify opportunities across the business, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver effective operations and achieve key milestones.
