Strategic Partner Manager, YouTube Shopping

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

In this role, you will need to work with cross-functional teams within YouTube and Google (Legal, Partner Engineering, Marketing, Content Partnerships, Strategy, Google Shopping, etc.) to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$123,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with brand/merchant partners.
  • Activate campaigns with merchants (e.g. increase commissions for YouTube creators, YouTube-specific promo codes etc) to help them drive more business through YouTube Shopping.
  • Support with program management for our overall merchant campaign work-streams. Use our tools/dashboards to analyze performance/impact of campaigns.
  • Ensure that critical partner feedback gets back to the cross-functional team to optimize product development.
  • Partner with brands and retailers to drive engagement with new product features and marketing activations. Draft comms to encourage merchants to take certain actions and participate in YouTube shopping campaigns.
