Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
- Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in a cross-functional organization, and influencing senior executives.
- Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills, and impeccable business judgment.
- Excellent cross-functional, customer-first thinking and leadership, with the ability to develop long-term strategy.
- Excellent product management, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, along with great attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and ability to get to the big picture to drive prioritization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (writing strategy docs, writing and delivering presentations, including to leadership).

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Customer Engagement (CE) is a team within Ads focused on providing tools and products to enable Google to intelligently engage customers and help them succeed at scale. Our solutions cover marketing, business, and support for the Ads business and also customer support for Google’s consumer ecosystem with many of those products serving more than xB monthly users like YouTube, Play, Hardware, Photos, Maps, Search, and Gmail to name a few.
Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define the product goal and roadmap aligning it with overall organization goals and user's needs. Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, research, business, and other organizations to ensure a cohesive and successful product launch.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to translate product goals into technical specifications and solutions. Advise on the product impact of a wide array of technical decisions.
- Leverage data and user insights to inform product roadmap decisions, measure success, and optimize performance.
- Understand advertiser needs, their significance, and how to address them effectively to ensure client success.
- Develop effective partnerships across Google with key AI capability teams (DeepMind, Core, etc.) to understand their product roadmaps. Track industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation for advertisers
