Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
- Experience in one or more areas of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, such as: Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Recommendation Systems, Reinforcement Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in building and deploying AI/ML models and systems.
- Experience with distributed systems and data processing technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Spark, Beam, MapReduce), along with experience in ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, scikit-learn).
- Experience with ML Operations practices and tools (e.g., Kubeflow, TFX, MLflow)and contributions to AI/ML research (publications in relevant conferences/journals) or open-source projects.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve machine learning models and AI software components.
- Implement machine learning (ML) algorithms using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or others.
- Work with datasets, leveraging Google's infrastructure for data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model training.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and other engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the team's engineering standard procedures, including code reviews, testing, and documentation. Analyze model performance, debug issues, and iterate on solutions to improve quality and efficiency. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the AI/ML field.
