Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with online advertising or ad monetization solutions (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Ad Exchange, AdSense, AdMob).
- Experience managing end-to-end partnerships.
- Experience working separately in a dynamic, changing, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

As a Strategic Partner Development Senior Associate, Commerce, you will be part of a growing and entrepreneurial team within the Sellside Americas organization focused on driving the North America business and you will be working closely with some of the largest and most strategic Commerce partners in the market. You will not only develop relationships with executive partner executives, but also work with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for adoption of the Google advertising and technical product suite.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop cross-product area strategic partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across changing industries.
- Ideate and drive negotiations with potential partners and renewals/expansions for existing partners and build consensus with internal and external executives.
- Serve as the relationship manager for our existing agreements. Help realize and optimize value from these partnerships while building effective long-term relationships.
- Engage with several internal cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to incubate, launch, improve, and scale new features and user experiences across markets and functional areas.
- Manage our strategic partners at all levels across the organization with a focus on driving ad business and partner satisfaction while managing and maximizing for business growth.
